why does everyone say rose is MVP material?
ffs he shoots less than 45%. in all the important games he goes something like 9-25. while he does have 8 assists per game, he has big men who are really good at finishing and he has 3.5 turnovers per game. he's a great player, probably nba 1st team, but lebron is still ahead of him in terms of MVP talk

yeah the big men you are talking about have played together for a total of 10 whole games.
and lebron averages 3.6 turnovers a game, while shooting only 48% so get your facts straight before you talk crap.

Nah. Rose is top ten in scoring + assists, and has dramatically improved his 3pt shot and kept his team in the chase for the top seed in the East with only like 8 games with both Boozer & Noah, two MAJOR pieces. Without Rose, this is a below .500 team. You take LeBron off the Heat and they're still really good.

Personally I think the most valuable player is not necessarily the best but the most important to his team. In that case you can make a good argument for Rose

He leads a team, he is top 10 in points and assist, number 1 shotblocking PG.
He has a 45% beause he is a number 1 option so he takes more shots.

you could probably give lebron the mvp every year because hes that good, but its good to get some new blood in there. d-rose is as deserving as anyone.
