No. They are going to hurt because it is moving the teeth in place to were they should be. It's going to hurt for a few weeks so tue best thing to do is to keep them on as much as possible so that the gums and roots will grow to where they need to be causing the teeth to stop hurting.

All braces hurt the first days(maybe even weeks) you get them on
