Can i use my ipod touch apps on a ipad?

i have like 660 apps on my ipod touch and im getting a ipad and returning my ipod touch because the 64Gb ipod keeps freezing and im experiencing allot of problems with it

    Some of them, not all of them; only the ones that are iPad compatible.

    If you look at the Apps section of your iTunes Library, it lists all the iPad compatible apps in a separate section. Of the 33 apps I have on my iPod Touch, 8 of them are iPad compatible.

    Apps that work on both the iTouch and iPad are called universal apps. Most apps are like that. Some won't but those are usually old apps that came out when the app store was pretty new
