Yes. I'm Atheist and I know it would put a huge strain on my relationship if I were to date a guy that valued religion, or went to church, etc. Religion does NOT play a big role in my life, which is why it would play a huge role in a relationship if my boyfriend didn't have similar views as myself.

i was answering another question where a woman posted a survey that SUPPOSEDLY claimed that women cheat more than men in marriage. She asked if anybody saw that as surprising... .and EVERYBODY was like "nope. that doesnt surprise me at all".....

That might be a hint that its time for american men to date religious muslim eastern women. Religious and non religious american women......... are cheating on you guys at a rate of 50% and divorcing you at the same rate. So half of your marriages are ending in failure.. and of your successful ones... half of your chicks are cheating.

I would love to have a religious woman if only for the increased chance of fidelity but NOT a christian woman. The most faithful women are muslim arabic women.

but... I am not muslim, so, that would be a difficult woman to get.

better off with buddhists in asia.

Nah. I'm Catholic, and I consider myself pretty faithful, but I honestly could care less what religion the guy was. As long as he's a good person with a sense of respect for others, what does it matter? Besides, there's a lot that people of other religions can learn from one-another. :)

  • Yes, in some respects. I don't think I could ever have any sort of a meaningful relationship with a person who was an extremist in his religious beliefs, regardless of the faith he practices.

Yes. If people have different religions it can cause serious issues at times.

Yes, I'm a highly opinionated atheist so a religious person wouldn't work well with me.

It might down the road if she tries to force her views on me or someone else.

I think it's a talk that every couple should have, but in the end, it wouldn't be a big factor for me.

Nah, as long as they dont get all preachy and millitant about it, I am cool
