What is the difference between enterprise edition and enterprise evaluation of any software product?

I came to know about this when i tried to download sql... Plz help...

    I think you will find that, as it says, the 'Evaluation' edition is just that, it is a time limited version so you can try it (a free trial) usually around 30 days, then if you buy it, it becomes the Enterprise Edition, they are both the same product
