I recommend Bloomberg (for finance info); Pandora (for free streaming music); Shazam (recognizes songs by listening to them); Tuneln Radio (listen to any radio station); Angry Birds (free edition for a fun game); NYTimes (for news); Facebook; Tango (THIS IS A MUST SO YOU CAN DO VIDEO CONFERENCING without Wifi or with people who don't have ATT); Ebay; and Units Converter. There are more.

Now the evil advice: Go to youtube and search for jailbreak videos for your current OS version (find it on setting and about). After jailbreak search youtube for obtaining Installous, and then you'll have ANY app for free (to try them and then buy them of course ;) )

go on app store click top 25 and paid or free which one you prefer then choose they top 25 ones are the most popular ones.

apps that i would recommned are facebook and angry birds, angry birds has been a very very very popular game in iphone ever since i bought it. i bought the phone in like september last year so yeah just look around and you'll get the hang of it.

I love that it's free cause they have good stuff on it.
