Eyelash curler keeps pulling out my lashes?

I have a Tweezerman eyelash curler, I curl after putting on Maybelline Falsies mascara because it holds the curl better for me but my eyelashes always stick to it or just get pulled out! is there a certain/better way to curl so i don't lose my lashes?

Be careful with that! That's how my bf's mom got her eyelashes pulled out :S

What I do is pull the eyelash curler from eyes very slowly! Ahaha you can also go on YouTube and look up tutorials on how do curl them with a spoon.

Try curling before mascara. If you dont want to do that them wait till the mascara is dry before curling. also clean the curler after each use since the gunk left from the mascara can grab the lashes and pull some out. Another thing is look at the black (or whatever color it is in yours) rubber rounded thing in the curler. see if there is an indent in the middle. if there is or one is starting to form then change it. that little indent can grab hold of the eyelash and rip it out if it gets stuck to far in. Its a pain when they get pulled out. Happened to me a lot but the cleaning and changing the rubber piece made a difference.

It is better to curl your eyelashes before you apply mascara to prevent them from sticking or being pulled out. Try squeezing the eyelash curler in 3 places for 5 seconds each: once very close to the base, once in the middle, then once close to the tips of your eyelashes. Apply mascara after wards and you should have a good curl. You could also try warming your eyelash curler slightly with a hair dryer before using.

Well you're supposed to curl then apply mascara. But are you giving the mascara a second to dry before you curl them because it could be that it's still wet and it ends up sticking to the curler then ripping out your eyelashes.

I had this same problem! Curling before you apply the mascara definitely gets rid of both these problems, but it doesn't feel like it curls them as much!

Another thing that can fix it is to buy a good, high rated curler, because they work better.

Or google some tips on how to curl your lashes naturally, or just better with a curler!

Heres a site that helped me! http://www.makeupgeek.com/tutorials/how-to-curl-yo...

It tells you the best way to get maximum curl before you put mascara on, and shows the best curlers and where you can buy them!

    Hope this helped! (:

    Stick Curler

  • You have to curl your eyelashes and then put mascara on!

If you have mascara on when you curl you eyelashes you can break your eyelashes or the curler can pull them out like yours it doing to you. hope this helps :)

You really should curl before you put mascara on. i work at a beauty salon and that is really dangerous. I had a client come in who did that and only had half her eyelashes... It's not worth it.

And you use falsies? I bought that and hate it... It clumps to often and is wayy to thick and gross.

I would curl first, then put on the mascara! Because when you curl, your lashes go their natural length then adding mascara will make them more voluminous.
