Dropping a section of the planet on it does a decent amount of damage.
Edit: And as the Leviathan is killed, the section of the planet that the ship was mining out gets released and drops back onto the planet. That's why you get warnings about the "gravity tethers" being released and that big flaming rock in the sky is a problem.

Don't listen to that guy the villian just keeps isaac from putting it back but later on she gets pwnd by the leviathan
