What's the best advice i should give to my friend?
So, i have a friend who use to work at this retail store. She thought she could get away with this: So a customer would come up to her lane and they would put money on a gift card. instead of giving it to them, she would keep! She'll use the gift card at her job and everything. She didn't think she would get caught and she did. They fired her and told her she had a limited time to pay them back the money. Luckly it was only 50 dollars. Well, she was nervous, so she got someone to take the money up there for her and didnt get a recipt. Now they sent her a letter in the mail saying she didn't pay it.
She really want to to be over with. Me being her friend, i try and comfort her but my lack of knowledge and understandment won't help.
Please HELP! How does that work? can you come back from retail theft?

LOL.
Honestly. Best advice in my opinion. Is let your friend deal with it herself.
However, if YOU are actually the "FRIEND" in this case, then I'd say you have to suck it up, walk into the job and talk to the manager. Tell them that money was brought in and you need a signed letter saying that the manager received the money. Best have the document already printed out with blank lines for people to fill in their names.
But if the FRIEND in this case is NOT YOU. Then let them learn from their mistake. Seriously. DO NOTHING.
