Help, looking for hardware, kind of like a Tee nut?
I am looking for something kind of like a tee nut, but different.
Like a tee nut the internal shaft would be threaded to accept a screw, Unlike the tee nut, the head would not have the barbs to be driven into the material but instead it would be more like a flat washer . The other end of the shaft would have external threads that could be secured with a washer and nut, (this would be a electrical point for a wire ring).
Basically I am looking for some sort of panel anchor for a 6-32 screw that could be loosened and tightened with out affecting the electrical point.
