im suing this company i used to work for for wrongful termination and breaks and rest meals and tips was taken away from me the case its been in court for 2 years now, next week i have a jury trial

so what you think does the company im suing have to pay if the Judge orders them to pay? or they could say we don't have no money to pay any thing at all? whats the company's rule at that point

is it a must pay or he could go and file for a bankrupts? and is it easy to file for a bankrupts

    You will find out next week after your jury trial. Just because you are suing your former employer is no guarantee you will win. Even if you do win, there is no guarantee how much the jury will award you.

    Real lawsuits are not like TV where the jury awards millions of dollars, but most likely only thousands or could decide your case is not strong enough. The fact that this has taken over 2 years is common since courts are clogged with lawsuits, since everyone wants their day in court. Or even if you win, your former employer could appeal the judgment and could be another couple of years for a decision.

    You do have a lawyer, don't you? If so, these are questions you should ask your lawyer, since you are paying this lawyer for their legal advice.
