Which medical specialist will know everything about antibiotics?

And how they work differently when taken as a pill, or taken as injection.

I need to find the specialist who can explain this properly, my home doctor just looks at me with a vacant expression when I ask intelligent questions! My IBD doctor says that antibiotics are not his terrain... so there I go, with a bowel disease... :-((

any help and info appreciated.

Most general physicians and pharmacists will be able to tell you about antibiotics and the difference between pill/injection. I'm not sure if the antibiotics are directly related, but regarding your IBD bowel issue...if you are looking to relieve the symptoms, I'd recommend looking into AloeElite. My cousin has UC and ended up in the hospital several times. She then took AloeElite and now leads a normal life...I'm a huge believer now and hopefully their website has the information that will help you too...good luck!

infectious disease doctors specialize in antibiotics, as they treat infectious diseases, some caused by bacteria.

However, ANY good doctor should be able to read the label insert, and tell you whether a drug is taken orally or by injection. as well as their specific indications, risks etc.
