Yeah, pretty much...they come in to the kitchen pre-cooked, prepped, and either hermetically sealed, or frozen.

    It's called "Fast Food."

Not at Olive Garden. The ingredients come in a truck like at any other restaurant. Then they are prepped and sometimes frozen until use, just like you would do at home.

There is a misconception that we get our food in plastic bags, but that is because the company provides plastic storage containers for the prep chefs to store the food in. (For example, when a prep chef is done de-veining some shrimp, he would put it in a bag and store it until it was time to use the shrimp). But no, it is not frozen in the same sense as TV dinners you would get in the grocery store.

Doubt they are frozen but main ingredients come out of a can.......Beware the new "value" meals at those places. Check out the pics and ingredients...ugh lots of cheap fillers.....pasta, rice,,, sauces....

You might as well eat cardboard with sauces on top.

Yes, frozen or canned and portioned controlled. Some of these restaurants have more microwave ovens in them than best buy. No one "cooks" at these franchises, they just put it together..
