I'm really not sure about this one problem any help would be great:
If a function is differentiable at x=c does that guarantee f(c) exist? Why?

Yes, if f(c) is continuous, then f(c) can be differentiable. However, this doesn't apply for all cases. If you have the cusp at x = c, then it's continuous but not differentiable!
