other than yes-man is there some other way to initiate the hoover dam war in fallout new vegas?
I've completed "you'll know when it happens" and "wild card:finishing touches" quests. I,ve so far sided with yes-man ands the ncr. But for the final quest yes-man insists to blow up the generators. But as that turns the ncr against me, I don't want to do that. Now I can't seem to continue the main story line. Is there some other way I can initiate the final quests with ncr. I don't care about yes-man at this point as he seems destructive. I'm already have enough trouble wi the legion against me. I Don't want to make enemies of nor too!
I went To ncr locations on the strip and camp and dam and no one is giving me any quest!
I use the fallout wiki all the time to complete some quests. But it's not very useful when you don't get a quest initiate and no one gives it to you

Try this website.http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_Wiki It has a walk through of all the quests. It will surely help you. I used it quite often when I played the game. Just click on new vegas when you get to the site.
I don't believe there is any way around your dilemma. You have to upset the ncr to complete the final yes man quest. His quests are all about you and your drive to be in control and gain power over the strip. It's not about making friends. I say go ahead and complete the mission. If you have some old saves you can use those to finish the other endings another time. That ending requires you to follow through with his request. You have come this far, you should seek the glory for yourself as is demanded of you. Don't worry about hurting the ncr, they aren't boy scouts. Finish strong and be the king of Vegas.
