What are the similarities of a linear and a Quadratic Equation?

    Some similarities would be that they are both functions, so no points will have the same x-axis twice. Their domain is all real numbers.

    Differences would be that a quadratic is a parabola (because the leading coefficient is squared) and quadratic will have a specific range less/greater or equal to a certain number. A linear equation covers all the y values, making its range infinite. Also, a linear equation is a straight line.
