Guys, is sex the only way to get you to date a girl???? i'm tired of this?

he was my date for formal (i asked him and we're 22). We know each other as acquantances and met at a party, where he talked to me first. He's popular and social and a bit flirty, so i can't be sure. But here's what he did on the date.

1. Before I asked if he wanted to meet at the place or pick me up, he let me decide, so i let him come to my place first and we had a few drinks and talked.
2. My button on my top was coming loose and I said it to myself and he laughed
3. We established i am a girly girl and he is a "tough guy"
4. through out the night he kept looking at his phone even when he didn't have a call/text and even messed up his password a few times lol bored or nervous???
5. When dancing he was all over me hehe but i let him and he was in my space a lot (like stood right by me when i was looking in the mirror in my room, and sat real close at dinner)
6. we talked a lot about hobbies, our families, school, etc. and he was a gentleman the whole time
7. whenever i gave him a compliment he seemed to REALLy like it lol
8. When i asked him to do me a favor he seemed excited to help me and it was holding my purse, which he did without a doubt
9. On the ride back he put his arm around me and let me snuggle up next to him...when I said how comfortable i felt he held me tighter.
10. oh at the end i told him thank you for being my date and he said "of course. i had a great time."

He hasn't asked me on a date yet or anything....it was saturday. i know guys will pursue you if they like you, my problem is this happens a lot where the guy is interested, but won't PURSUE...just want sex? i'm a virgin and a nice girl, so what makes them think that? out of all the guys i've met only 1 actually took me out to dinner and pursued me. Anyway, I asked him to my bday movie and dinner this weekend and he wrote back: "would love to, not sure if ill be able to though. If anything id make it to the movie. Ill let u know"

Congratulations, I applaud your values & morals. To answer your question - No. I real man who wants you, will date you without sex. He just wants to spend time with you.  Men who respect you & want a real relationship will ask you out again (or pursue you). Men who (just) want sex will "keep it moving" and find girl willing to give it up. It doesnt mean that he likes her, just that he thinks that he can get laid. He may never commit or marry her.

The good news is that when you meet men who are only after one thing, you won't have to waste months/years trying to see where it is going. A lot of young women waste a lot of time trying to figure out how the guy feels about them (and this is after having slept with them). You will know very quickly their true intentions. This will open you up & keep you available for Mr. Right.

You are so lucky to have your head on straight at such a young age! Kudos!

The problem is that women are ATTRACTED to the alpha males, and that is strongly related to reproduction.  And alpha males are the bad boys.  It's about exchanging body fluids.

What you need to realize is apart from wanting to have sex with you (cuz he thinks your really beautiful ect), a guy ALSO wants to date you and get to know you in other ways.

umm, hes probably just trying to play it cool. text him telling him how horny you are and see how he reacts. that will get his attention.
