I have a few noobish questions about memtest86+?
After getting many BSODs and eliminating everything else I could think of, I decided to check my memory.
1. Is memtest86+ safe? Are there any risks of using/running it, maybe if it wasn't burned correctly or other reasons?
2. How do I stop it?

Totally safe if you download it from the author's web site. Downloading from other sources at your own risk. Some people put viruses in programs, especially programs that are useful. I always advise people to download only from the author/publisher's site. NEVER download from P2P or similar places unless you really know what you are doing.
Press ESC key or reboot to stop it.
When I use it, I often let it run at least 24 hours. If there is a heat related problem, it could take hours to show up. If there are ANY errors reported, even one, I get rid of the bad RAM, there is zero tolerence when it comes to RAM.
This is a good idea for you, at this point in your troubleshooting.
