If chickens had lips, could they whistle?

    Lips and whistling don't equate. Cows have lips, but don't whistle. My parrot doesn't have lips, but does whistle.

    You do not have to have lips to whistle. Many birds can whistle, such as parrots. Chickens don't.

    You'd have to have the muscles in your mouth and the intelligence to whistle.
