ASUS don't have 12 cell batteries unlike HP or Toshiba ( 8 cell max)
ASUS laptops body are made of cheep material ( the plastic is easily broken)
ASUS have weird designs
ASUS is fairly new in laptop brands
ASUS don't give you an update to its drivers ( I go to the device driver website to get the latest drivers)

ASUS are cheap but are normally are half decent,
The brand name is where they lose most of their expense, other bigger companies cost more.
Asus are used by people without big budgets and also for people who don't need a high end computers.

that decreases price
These days because of the way parts and components are made their is less difference between more expensive parts and the less expensive ones
If you wanted an Asus and you are a casual user or mid-range user, it would defiantly be fine.

1- Really reliable, I owned one for 5 years and it never had any problem.
2- Great features
3- Great for all uses
4- Great performance
The only problem is that Asus isn't as big of a company as HP or Dell but nonetheless they make great laptops and I recommend you to buy one.

They are low-priced and provide most services users need at a relatively decent speed. They are not gaming computers nor are they business computers, but they are adequate for students and introductory users.
