What is up with NBA's hispanic heritage jerseys?

Why do they say "El Heat" and "Los Bulls" instead of "El Calor" or "Los Toros." I think that the NBA is disrespecting hispanic culture by pretending that adding a "los" onto a team name honors latinos and spanish-speaking basketball fans! Does the NBA know how ignorant they are being and do you agree with me?

One reason is to attract Hispanics to the basketball games or when the NBA team has a Latino Night.

It's just a way of showing "appreciation" I'm guessing

don't mind it, but you make a good point...

but the Teams name is the HEAT, and the BULLS (spurs, suns etc).

so I don't think it would of worked out...

and that would be a little pushy with "El Calor"

I'm Mexican and I don't mind that it's not completely in spanish, it's not a big deal. I don't feel offended in any way. I actually think it's pretty cool of the NBA to do that.

Stern thinks they can make money on them.

Obviously, nobody told him that latinos only care about baseball and futbol.
