The government has a track record of failure, waste, and fraud.

If the like sitting in the DMV waiting for a license plate, you're going to love lying on a stretcher in the hall waiting for bed to open up in the hospital. This happens in the socialized countries of Europe.

Other fine examples are the Post Office and Amtrak. Obama actually has the gall to suggest we now need an even bigger government rail system.

Please, let the private sector take care of this. When Disney or Treasure Island build a monorail, people use it. When the city of Denver builds a light rail system, it costs billions and nobody is on it except gang-bangers.

It crashed and burned already. although they are still pushing an Illegal law and grabbing all the revenue they can get from it. The Courts said that it was unconstitutional. That makes the National Health care law DEAD IN IT'S Tracks. But the Government still keeps pushing it through for the taxes needed to fund it.

GO FIGURE. That means nothing now. They do what they want no matter what any one says.

Actually, the DOE makes nuclear weapons, runs the national labs, and has done an outstanding job securing nuclear weapons material from the former soviet bloc countries.

They also produce medical radiological materials, research materials science and have the world's best supercomputer. Perhaps you may have missed the theoretical physics colliders and the Spallation Neutron Sourcein your confused haste.

Amtrak, post office, medicare, social security, etc... all disasters. The government should stick with the military and highway infrastructure and get the heck out of everything else.

We elected a conservative Republican who was in the pocket of big oil, as President in 1980.

It will also be as successful as Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. It means well but will be bankrupt in a few years.

We found them: Wind, geothermal, solar, and damn good storage cells.

However, nobody wants to pay for them.
