He can do what he wants in that regard. Its not as if a team will sign him so quickly. Remember he's been out of the game for a few years. That means there will be rust. He has to prove what he is worth to the teams that need a RB. Its not about his past. Its about what he can do for teams right now. The only reason he is coming back is because he's bankrupt. The fact remains, he doesn't have money because he spent it foolishly, and the divorce settlement is likely going to take everything he has. The point is, he's only doing this because he needs the money and because NBC didn't renew his contract after his affair with an NBC intern. I don't know whether or not he will be signed right away, but I think teams might be wary because of his now distorted reputation. He put himself in this position by the choices he made.

WTF, indeed. Tiki wants to get back to the level he was playing at when he retired? I wonder if anyone can tell me what the most yards and TDs a 36 year old coming out of retirement for any length of time has posted.....I don't like his odds. I bet he doesn't break 400 yards and 3 TDs and that's assuming he makes it through the entire season.

He needs money to pay child support to his wife for those twins she just had. That's why if a pro athlete is smart, he won't get married or have kids until he retires

i dont think he'll be like his old days, but he came out relatively early and because of injury. if he thinks he can play, go for it. as an athlete, i know what its like to want to come back to a sport, especially when you know, or think you are still capable. im not mad at him.
