Wow I actually really like it for a girl. For a boy it is a little girly. But still super cute for a girl name!

Audra would seem like a females name. because Audra is a term for the name "Audria" - Now "Audria could be boys name or girls in my opinion. However for Audra in my opinion it seems like a girls name. The girl with this name would be "Calm" and at times "Sassy". :)

It is a girl name. Its origin can be traced back to Lithuania and England. In Lithuanian it means "storm". In england it was used as a varient of Audrey and has been used since the 19th century. My impression of the name: I don't really like it but that is just my opinion. I could picture someone with that name to be kid of shy.

It makes me think "why not Audrey? Was it really that important to appear alternative?"

Anyway I always get disappointed when I meet people with unusual names. They turn out to be as conventional as the rest of us. Their stupid names just make their parents seem pretentious.
