will a rabies shot help after the pet is bitten?

my dog just got bit by a raccoon and my dog has not had a rabies shot.

    yes, there is a shot for dogs when they get biten and get infected by the rabis just take ur dog to the vet immediatly before he starts getin aggresive.

    i dont think so.. but im not positive.. were they in a fight? does the raccoon appear sick?? you may be worrying for nothing. :)
