Rule it: Yugioh conundrum.?

Darkness approaches - koonami left us high and dry as did upper deck with this one, I'm interested in yu gi oh judge opinions on this card. so the questions are:

1) What IS the attack of a face down attack position monster if any?

2) Would you take life point damage if your face down attack position monster was attacked?

3) Can you attack with said face down attack position monster?

and finally 4) how would the effect of cards that destroy face down apply to said monster?

Update:

there is such a thing as face down attack position it is only possible through the card darkness approaches, which states that you "Discard 2 cards from your hand. Select 1 face-up monster and flip it face-down, but do not change its battle position."

http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Darkness_Approaches

so don't even try to tell me its not possible (especially if you haven't read the card). I am a yu gi oh judge and am wondering your opinions on the matter. myself and the other local judge's were trying to solve it and as we looked up the ruling for it koonami and upper deck both said basically go F*ck yourselves and didn't give us a ruling on this situation. So back to my point, please answer the above questions.

    1) Like a face down defense position monster, when it is attacked it is flipped face up, revealing it's attack.

    2) Yes, it is flipped face up before damage calculation.

    3) No, face down monsters cannot declare an attack.

4)It is face down, so it is destroyed.

There is no such thing as face down attack position, only face down defense

So then no, while it's face down it does not have an attack, if it was attacked, and your monster died, yes you would take damage; no you would have to flip it then attack; they would still be applied, unless they say face down defense position

The User Bunz is right, I would just add to number 4 that is would be treated as face down, but obviously not if the card says to destroy a face down defense position monster.
