What happens after my credit card has expired?

does the online enrollment expire too, will i have to enroll all over again?

or does that stay the same.

Update:

considering that after the credit card expires, they send a new card with new numbers, therefore the online enrollment account should be closed because it ask for a valid number, am i right?

what are your experiences?

Update 2:

what if they aren't sending a new card?

if the card expires, does the online enrollment account close too?

Update 3:

someone please give me some info.

based on

not getting a new card from the company, after the card expires, will the online enrollment account close too?

If you did not receive your new card it means one of two things and you need to call the CC company.

    1. They have CLOSED your account

    2. Your card was lost or stolen from the mail

Unless you have a balance the online will not be available to you because you no longer have an account.

Your account number does NOT change when it is renewed it stays the same and your online log in is just as if the card never expired.

But the smart thing is to simply use your common sense and call them especially to make sure a card was not sent and you did NOT receive it. Also you need to learn how CC's work before using them. Sounds like you may have miss used the card they gave you and they are closing your charge privileges down.

If you have kept current on your account, the institution will send you another card with a new expiration date about 21 to 45 days in advance of your old card expiring. They would only close your account if you are very deliquent. Same with the interest rate. That should not be affected by your card expiring, unless you are getting deliquent in your payments. Odds are very strong your card will renew otherwise and you should be good to go! :) Have a nice day.

They'll send you a new card with a new expiration date about 2 weeks before your old one expires. If they don't, call them and ask. All the credit cards I've ever seen want to keep working with you forever.

in my experience, they sends new credit card. unless they decide to stop your account for some reason which they need to tell you. you need to check if they sent you card. banks usually send new one about a month or so before the expiration date. don't let it go, because what if they sent it to an old address or wrong one, you need to know.

if they renew your account, they send you new credit card. which means continuing your online account. but why you want to take our words for it? contact them and find out.

Online registration of net access ramain same, but it shows the number of new card also in drop down menu. If we try to access old card only old data is seen but when we choose new card no from drop down menu it shows the detail of new card.
