Are cellar (daddy-long leg) spiders venomous?

Yes, venomous, no not at all dangerous to humans, and yes the fangs can penetrate the skin, but no, they virtually never bite humans. They do eat Black Widows, among other things, so I can't imagine why anybody who is upset about spiders would ever kill one of these harmless and rather interesting spiders.

The cellar spider is not really a spider at all and I doubt if it has fangs like a real spider and they're no threat to humans but what makes you so sure it's a cellar spider. Your bathroom is not a cellar and what I think you saw was the common house spider which is no threat to humans either.

As for Opilliones which are the true daddy long legs they have no venom.

No. Their fangs are unable to penetrate human skin and if they were/are able to, the venom is relatively harmless in humans. Should you get a bite just ice it down and go to the doctor to make sure.

They are, but the venom does little more to humans than the average bug bite.

They're not particularly aggressive against people either.
