I don't really feel sorry for the people of Japan.

Rather, I am encouraged and motivated by them. Of all the natural disasters that I have witnessed through the media over the years, I have never seen so much courage, righteousness and motivation as being displayed by the Japanese.

They do not need nor want our pity. It is not their way of life to sit around and make excuses. Whether it be a 9.0 earthquake, a tsunami, a nuclear meltdown or ALL 3 TOGETHER, they seem to get up, brush themselves off and get back to work.

As you can read in my blog about how the earthquake has affected the Japanese Baseball League (http://bit.ly/ebUKbL ) it will not be long before the Japanese people will conquer this affliction. In doing so they show us an example of the moral conduct we all should live by.

Well done Japan and I pray for you!

I feels bad for any tragic that happened, be it China, Indonesia, Japan or anywhere else...

I can sympathize with them well enough as I can imagine the kind of lost and anger for loosing everything I have slowly built within minutes. Not to mention love ones that were with you most part of my life. For me, it's like living death... I would rather die with my love ones than staying alone and helpless... tears roll just by having such thoughts.

Just watching a replay now. The earthquake was not on land the epicenter was 125kms out to sea but caused a massive tsunami which has done most of the destruction and tremors spread to Japan. It is a terrible thing to happen and I feel bad.

Yes. Everyone feels bad except for the people who were on the Bataan death march. Theyre probably cheering on the tsunami...

I feel bad too. Japan is a very developed country but these earthquakes never let them enjoy their life very fully. Through these I respect the Japanese more and more: they suffer these mishaps and still manage to walk on their feet, and walk very very far away.
