What is Photobucket? Do I have to pay for it?

Photobucket.com.

People everywhere are telling me to do or get it.

What is it? And does it want money?

Update:

What is Flickr? What's the difference between the two, and which is better? So confused...

There's no need to have either of them. Photobucket is free and it lets you send pictures off of your phone onto the photobucket website. I suggest getting an SD card before doing that. And I think Flickr is a place to share photos online or something.

It's a website that lets you post photos online to share with people. There is no cost for the service. They make their money from advertising -- in other words if you upload a photo and the user clicks on it to see the full size image then it gets displayed on their website, with a banner ad on top of the page.

    No, it doesn't cost money.

It's like Flickr but emo kids like it because it's easy to go from photobucket to gaia online.
