Miami Wade County make a good point.

Also, The Cavs beat the Spurs 2-0 in the regular season in 2007, but the Spurs beat the Cavs in the finals.

And in 1994, the Cavs beat the Bulls 3-1 during the season, but the Bulls swept the Cavs in the playoffs.

So, anything can happen in the playoffs.

Well since the opposite is usually true, then does that mean if the Lakers play the Heat in the Finals they would win?

Cleveland got swept in the regular season by Detroit and then swept them in the playoffs

Celtics got swept by Cleveland but beat them in the playoffs

So no that is not true at all
