1967 Mustang Fastback GT.?
Need some opinions on what would be a good camshaft & lifter package for my old Mustang which has a 289. Any brands better than others, and what do you recommend. The car is completely stock from the factory, but is suffering from a ticking valve or lifter.

completely stock. that means you have rail rockers, no hard seats on exhaust, and pressed in rocker studs. if you are smart you will fix the heads and then worry about a cam and a lifter.
