Are there any freestyle drills that would fix my breathing?

When i breathe during free, i turn my head instead of keeping it in line with my body and rotating to breathe, which causes my head to get stuck and just follow my arm down into the water. my coach says i slow my stroke rate down when i do that. What are some drills that i could do to fix that?

Do nice steady strokes and breathe every 4 strokes, after that slow it down and take your time. Rotate your head so that your mouth barely exits the water then repeat. You might drink some water (hehe) but you'll adapt to it sooner or later. you shouldn't be seeing the sky directly if you rotate your head to the side as in "looking up at the ceiling", just look at the wall or the lane line.

one arm drill. that way you could focus on the way your body is supposed to rotate.
