Multitasking, flash support, open source, widgets, development community, and there is always a device that suits your exact needs

Nothing really, the support is limited compared to Windows and iTunes, (though Mac technically uses Linux these days), whilst the Open Source enables noob programmers to experiment, it also makes it less secure, (hackers and crackers can see vulnurabilities in the coding and exploit it), because of this, these exploits often take longer to fix, due to the companies not being as large, and the Open Source nature.
Saying that, I have a Tablet PC that runs Android 2.1, (though I have to use SlideMe rather than the Marketplace), and it's quite good, (even though the media player crashes if I add more than 90 songs).
Either way, you're getting screwed, and I'd much rather get screwed by a large company with a lot of support, with Android, it's hard to know who to contact, since much of the OS, especially apps you download, are created by independent parties.
Unfortunately the supported file formats are much more limited than say an iPod Touch or a Windows Phone, such as my HD7, but I guess it's a case of each to their own.
Saying this, it generally is easier to transfer files to and from the devices.
But the truth is, it'll never make a dent on Microsoft, like all 20 of the people using MacBooks who think that they're using a superior platform, Microsoft still has 94% of the market, and if it wasn't for the iPod, Apple would've sunk years ago.
