How in Greece may we best devote some time in remembrance for the loss experienced on this day last year?

A very sad day in the whole Yahoo Community.

Did not know personally either one of the 2 ladies that passed away but I see the effect they had in people's lives even as time goes by

I want to believe this world is a little better today because they both graced it with their presence and wisdom

Let's keep their memory alive by being kind to others.

    I am sure that's what they'd want

    RIP Ipek and Goxy

Indeed I had my own moment of remembrance for Ipek and also for her family. Hard to believe it is a year since she passed away, and 1.5 years since Goxy also left us. They were two very special people in my and many other people's hearts. Indeed as I mentioned at the time, for me it was the first time that losing someone I never met in person and the impact that had on my emotions

I guess the best way to honour Ipek, would be to remember how she used to handle the ever annoying itch (pluralise that if you wish) that is still around, and not to scratch it, but just to flick it away. She had her own inimitable style of doing that and whilst I am sad, this fortunately brings a smile to my face if by chance I see an answer from history bearing her mark.

Her impact spanned far and wide with many people (so forgive me for jumping in on this although not being a regular contributor in this section)

No-one can take that away from her. Her mark here on Yahoo Answers and in many people's hearts will be indelible.

(P.S. Really nice of you to do this btw)

So sad. Still can't believe she is not here.

I hope she is having a good time up there, looking down to us.

I don't think any that knew her even briefly will forget...

Neither will I forget the huge battle we had reinstating

all those memorial questions which were deleted.

Ipek certainly had a certain 'je ne sais quoi' about her,

which touched a lot of people in an unforgettable way,

some for a moment, some for a lifetime...we will know

    which one applies to us.

She entered our lives for a reason, she provided guidance and support...

It's not too late to put what we have gained to good use in areas of our own lives.

Thank you Ipek, for being a part of my life...all-be-it for a brief moment...x

    @ στάθησ,

Happy Birthday to your Mama...and Thank you!

I take it you mean the passing of Ipek. Well, she , along with another member that passed away a few months earlier were two very important contributors even though there was not much love between them.

Yet, both of them with their contributions made this travel section a bit more wiser and interesting.
