Why is everyone doubting the Minnesota Twins?
Seems to be a lot of doubt in the Twins... Morneau should and will be back and they have made lots of improvements including the middle infield and many of the players who improved a lot last year like Young and Velencia will be even better this year. So why the doubt?

Wouldn't you rather be doubted? The Twins play the underdog well in the regular season. There is no better way to complete a three-peat for the division crown than starting the season off the radar.
My main concerns are the bullpen and starting rotation. Pavano and Liriano are going to be fine, but what about Baker, Slowey, Blackburn, and Duensing? The Twins need at least two of those guys to step up. In the bullpen, how will Nathan return to the closing role? If he does not succeed, can he be a set-up man? Can Neshek be effective again? Can Mijares develop into a dominant lefty out of the bullpen? Who fills in the gaps in the middle innings? There are a lot of bullpen questions.
I think the position players are fine. Here should be the line-up:
C: Mauer
1B: Morneau
2B: Nishioka
SS: Casilla
3B: Valencia
LF: Young
CF: Span
RF: Cuddyer
DH: Kubel or Thome
Bench: Butera, Plouffe, Tolbert, Revere, Kubel or Thome for sure

How do you know that Young and Velencia will be even better this year? Did you somehow watch all 162 games or something? You can't guarantee that they'll be better just because you think they will.
The Sox have the best rotation in the division, as well as a powerful lineup, defense and not a bad bullpen. Detroit improved a little too, people are expecting the Twins to win it based on past history that has nothing to do with how they will perform in 2011.

Love the new kid, Ben Revere!
I think the Yankees showed how to get to the Twins' pitching during the postseason. With Liriano...you make him strike you out....almost everybody else, you work the fastballs.
The other problem is the fact they are not built for the new ballpark....which is where Revere comes in...because he can run the bases and poke the ball into the gaps.

particular i think for you, it may desire to be dreadful to stay in a hateful society. You shouldn’t merely could desire to bypass up and down the rustic to discover a shelter, the place you would be ordinary for whom and what you're and be distant out of your loved ones. we don't have this subject in Western Europe and that i'm outright grateful for that. i do no longer shout it from the roofs that i'm a lezzie, yet I save myself to myself in spite of the shown fact that there's no reason to try this. What I prefer to circumvent at any cost is being provocative and tough, as a number of our “brothers and sisters” are. you're able to easily save a low profile in case you prefer to get on with your existence. over the years the region will replace, even in u.s.. Don’t push your mum (and others) too perplexing. they have grown up in a worldwide have been we are seen outcast. She’s your mum after all. perhaps you're able to be able to desire to take the extra advantageous attempt and prepare your solid factors without laying it on too thick. Time will slender the hollow. wait and notice.

Still no depth in the rotation. Nor in the bullpen. Plus Detroit and Chicago appear to be alittle more balanced throughout.

They are very talented but it's really up to morneau's health if they win their division.

I'm not doubting them, I'm just saying they aren't as good as the Tigers and White Sox.
