On Two and a Half Men, how did Alan end up with the fold out couch, and Jake got the guest room?
with the regular bed. Seems the full time adult (Alan) should have the bed while the part time kid (Jake) should have the fold out couch. I must have missed that episode.

Its Charlies house.. and since Alan never pays for anything, he should get the fold out bed.. Alan is a very cheap person, he cant even pick up a bottle of wine without using charlies credit card.. what did Jake ever do to be sent to a fold out bed, he should have the good guest room.. he is a better guest than Alan who has mooched off of Charlie for years...
thats just my opinion.. I dont think they ever said on the show....

I think the writers just wanted to make alan look as pathetic as possible
