Id like to know if i can use violin music sheet to flute?

Hello,

I need to know if i can use violin music sheet to my flute..

I find plenty of music sheet in violin is it possible to read and perform in it on flute?

    I agree with all the previous responders, any music in treble clef should be worth a try.

    As a bassoonist, I've been known to plunder the cello repertoire. I tried playing Vivaldi's cello concertos and Bach's cello suites...the double stops weren't possible, of course, but overall, it still [kind of] worked!

    It is possible, I know this because I do plenty of duets with a violinist and if we can't find any flute/violin songs, we just grab a flute/flute duet or a violin/violin duet. They are both in the key of C and are both on treble clef. However, you may need to watch out for notes below the staff. The lowest note I can play is the b natural below the staff, but the violin can get lower.

    It will generally be possible to play violin music on a flute apart from the times when the music might go out-of-range for the flute or involves double-stops (ie two notes played at one time).

    Sure, just remember that violin has a few notes below the flute's range. When a violin part goes below middle C you'll have to take it up an octave.

    Yes it is because violin and flute both use the same notes which is treble clef.
