Or maybe there's something else going on in his life that he wants to talk to you about? Perhaps he's been waiting for the opportunity to open up to you, and it's never arrived. Don't jump to conclusions about him wanting to break up before you know the score. Give him a call - explain he seems pretty distracted and angry these days. Apologise if you haven't been there to listen and ask him if there's anything going on that he wants to talk about. Make it clear you are there for him.

He's insecure. Tell him to grow a pair. Also. I'd watch him a little more carefully. Sometimes guys who are cheating will want their girlfriend to leave them and hate them intentionally, just so they feel less guilty about what they're doing. But yeah I know how you feel, that was sorta uncalled for, but hey. Maybe he's just.. plain stressed. Talk to him at least, communication is key.

Dump him, he is causing petty fights for no reason and that's not healthy in a relationship. To me it sounds like it's time to move on because he is just trying to get you to break up with him. Trust me girl I know from expirience.

My boyfriend was doing the exact same thing!! I kept asking him if he was trying to push me away and I told him if he kept acting that way towards me I would be gone!
