Do you prefer PS3 or Xbox 360?
I am a happy PS3 owner, previous Xbox 360 owner.
Cool to see how split down the middle it is. I have had 360 and PS3 in the past, but I don't really need a 360 now, the blu ray is a HUGE plus for me, a long with exclusives like Uncharted, Gran Turismo and so forth. PS3 FOR LIFE!

Let me break it down for you. I own both consoles, and here's the deal:
- The PS3 is the better system (I mean hardware-wise. i.e. more powerful than Xbox, better graphics, etc. I'm not just some fanboy)
- PS3 has more and better exlclusives (PS3 has God of War, LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted, Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Gran Turismo, and many more. The Xbox only has Gears of War, Fable, and Halo. Halo is dead now since Bungie is leaving Microsoft anyways.)
- PS3 is a better multimedia hub (It has Blu-Ray, its easy to put pictures, music, and movies on it, etc.)
- Xbox is much better for playing online (Xbox Live is WAY better than PSN. PSN is free, but you get what you pay for with XBL)
- Xbox is better for playing shooter games (Mostly because of the controller)
- Multi-platform games are better on Xbox (Stuff like Call of Duty. Idk, this might just be my opinion.)
Overall, I play my Xbox more than my PS3, but I play mostly the Halo games, so it makes sense. I do like playing Call of Duty or Battlefield: Bad Company 2 type games on my Xbox as well though.

If you feel like paying for the same type of gaming quality then go with a 360. There really isn't a difference other than a few games like halo (360) and Metal Gear Solid (PS3) that are console exclusive.

Get the 360. More and better games are coming out for the 360 than the PS3.
In my own opinion anyway...

PS3. I have to many bad experiences with Xbox. (Red Ring, ripped and destroyed 8 games) and paying for online is ridiculous. PS3 is much more reliable. The worst thing that happened was it froze. Restart the system and I'm right back at it. Xbox has to much crap wrong with it.
