My guess is that you are looking for value? Here are a couple of links to help you with that. The type of material (wood, silver, pewter) would be an important detail as well as style. To get an age of the salad spoons it would be important to know when the origin of craftmanship was noted on the objects (Italy stamp). If they are silver it should denote .925.
