Who invented the Burrito?

And was it originally made with donkey meat*

*(burrito means "little donkey" in Spanish, right?)

    A lot of that Mexican food is from the time of the Aztecs. They made tortillas but of course had different names for everything. It just is shaped like a little burrito and that's why it's called that. I don't think the Aztecs were fools enough to cook up their little working donkeys. Maybe they were vegetarians anyway. Please research this for me.

    Because of the lack of communication each country thinks they were the first to create the burrito but does it really matter ? the guy is dead i dont think he gave a hoot who would consume it in the years to come for all you know he could have been a bum on the side of a road combing old food into one thing !

    My great grandfather actually knew the guy who invented the burrito. His name was Enrique Ponce.
