Old episodes of Family Guy Question?

In the 1999 episodes of Family Guy I had noticed over the years how much the characters personalities have evolved. Like, in the 1999 episodes, Peter, when speaking always sticks his tongue out of his mouth at inappropriate times, and how Stewie (even as evil as he is) has no sense of humor like he does in the newer episodes of Family Guy. In the early episodes, he never cracks jokes, he just sits there with his eyes in a slit motion, looking all miserable and angry.

But seems to have more of a personality in the new ones.

Anyone else make this observation?

Update:

***Oh, and how Lois's voice in the 1999 episodes is much slower, more annoying and the word 'dinnnnaaaah' is in every single show. (dinner is the actual word, but doesn't sound like dinner, sounds like 'dinnnah'.

    Old Family Guy Episodes

Yes the early Stewie was usually always planning world domination and killing Lois. The character has changed over the years and many people starting asking if he was gay. In a recent episode Brian called him on just that subject, and goaded him into inventing a device to bring out his evil side. It backfired when the machine made two Stewies. A regular Stewie and one that was pure evil. A lot of people seemed to enjoy the episode as did I.

I never really noticed Peter as much; but the others I did. I asked the same questions about Lois. & everywhere I looked said they never changed. It just said "she got older & everyone voice changes."
