The first step in solving a system of linear equations by graphing is?
A. decide whether the lines could be perpendicular
B. Plot the y intercept and then another point using the slope for each line
I know the answer isn't C and D so I didn't add them on here.
Thank you !

um B? I think what B is saying is basically to plot each linear equation on the graph.
I'm not sure, but I don't think in A, lines being perpindicular has to do with actually solving for the value in the the system of linear equations?
Anyway, hope this helps. Maybe you should ask the teacher?

in case you recognize the thank you to charm to the graphs, the recommendations are on the ingredient the area the graphs intersect. you will see that your techniques to a million) are incorrect for the rationalization that the two right now away lines pass in in basic terms one ingredient. (3,0) capacity x=3 and y=0 which does now no longer lie on the two line. a million) to scientific care, from the 1st equ x=y+a million and sub into the 2nd to furnish y+a million+2y=4 giving 3y=3 so y=a million. Then x=a million+a million=2 so the respond is (2,a million). Do you particularly understand the thank you to charm to the lines?

B.
It doesn't help you to figure out if lines are perpendicular or not.
It can help, however to figure out if lines are parallel
