Can anyone help me with my Ipod?

Ok, my Ipod battery went down completely and now it is saying it is in disk mode, how do I get back to my songs?

Update:

Thank you Grant! I didn't even think of that!

I would try restarting it. Press and hold the MENU and CENTER buttons for about ten seconds until you see the apple logo.

    Turn Off iPod

    Remove Battery Cover

    Remove Battery

    Wait 30 seconds

    Replace Battery

    Hook Battery to Recharger Cord

Plug Recharger Cord in Electrical Outlet

Let iPod Charge for 2 Hours

    Turn iPod on

    Go to Tools/Menu

Scroll through to see if there is a selection to restore lost songs.
