You can look at the character map or google the alt codes.

This can be done by using the "Alt codes". Here's some links so that you can get the ones you want. Each web site may have slightly different letters available. These Alt codes use the combination of your keyboard "Alt" key and the number sequence of the "code" you want. Note: the number or numbers must be used from the numerical keypad on the right side of the keyboard. The numbers above the "qwerty" keyboard keys won't work.

charmap.
go to start>run>type in charmap> find your symbol
or just google the symbol's name..
for instance, if you wanted pi:
google Pi Symbol
