I dropped my Ipod touch in water!?
I accidentally dropped my iPod touch in a sink for a split second. The screen worked for a few minutes, but was very dim. Then it went black. I tried using a hair drier to dry it out, but then the screen went white. The touch screen still works. I was able to open some apps by guessing where to push on the white screen. I think it is just the screen. How do I fix this?

First, do you have coverage/insurance on your iPod? If you take it to the the Apple Store (or anywhere you bought it) and have coverage/insurance on the iPod, they could replace it with a brand-new one instead of you having to buy a whole new one. Hope this helped...

Try to make sure all the water is out. What my friend did was put his Ipod in a bag of rice, since the rice absorbs the water.Otherwise,it might be a technical problem so go to an apple store to get it repaired.

Try turning the iPod off, if possible, and putting it right side up in a bag of rice. The rice works to absorb the water from inside the iPod. I know people who have done this and it worked perfectly!

Drop it in a bunch of rice. Like cover it. The rice will absorb the water in the device. It worked on my phone so maybe it'll work on your ipod.

I think the only way you can fix it, is by going to the Apple Store. Fixing it yourself might make it worse. Going to the Apple Store they might be able to give you a new one, or fix it themselves.
Hope this Helps! :D
