Poll:If your husband/wife/bf/gf wanted to go movies with a friend of the opposite sex alone would you let them?

She does not need my permission to do anything but I would not mind her doing that to answer your question. I also know and have friends of the opposite sex that I don't have sex with. Do you really think I or anyone else wants to have sex with everyone of the opposite sex? What a world that would be. Good grief.

You have to have boundaries. Yes you can be friends with the opposite sex, but you really have no business going on dates when you're committed to someone else.

I know you say it's not a date, but it is a date activity. There's a difference between trusting someone, and giving them all the tools and opportunities to be unfaithful. Not to mention how it looks. I mean if other people are going to be like " you did what?!" and give you that disapproving look, then you know it's wrong. If you have to ask, you know its wrong.

I wouldn't even think of asking my SO that, let alone permitting it.

My personal standard is the Bible which states to avoid even the appearance of evil. Therefore even if the couple are innocent in their relationship my husband would not do it because it dishonors God, me his wife and the other female friend.
