is it possible to explain acid-base reaction...?
Is it possible to explain all acid-base reaction with Lewis theory? Pls explain ur reasoning..
edit: i know what is lewis theory. what i want to know-> is it possible to explain ALL acid-base reaction with the theorem, as in 'is there a limitation on the theorem?'

Yes.
Consider our simple reaction, Na OH + H Cl ----- NaCl + H OH
Here H+ accepted one electron pair from electron density rich OH- species
and vice versa.

A Lewis acid is defined to be any species that accepts lone pair electrons. A Lewis base is any species that donates lone pair electrons.
Thus, H+ is a Lewis acid, since it can accept a lone pair, while OH− and NH3 are Lewis bases, both of which donate a lone pair:

that's extremely wierd for the explanation that Iodine is being decreased and oxidized. in case you pass with, you could replace I in between the equations with yet another image (like J, from the German). yet while now no longer, the a million/2 equations are: 2 IO3- + 12H+ + 10e -> I2 + 6H2O and 2I- -> I2 + 2e So multiply equation 2 by utilising 5, upload the equations and picture ofyou've have been given have been given the balanced equation.

this is oftentimes fairly wierd because of the fact the Iodine is being decreased and oxidized. in case you bypass with, you could replace I in between the equations with yet another image (like J, from the German). yet while no longer, the a million/2 equations are: 2 IO3- + 12H+ + 10e -> I2 + 6H2O and 2I- -> I2 + 2e So multiply equation 2 via 5, upload the equations and think of ofyou've have been given have been given the balanced equation.
