If the magnitude of a velocity vector is 8.4m/s and the x-component is 3.6m/s , what is the y-component?

    cos θ = Vx / Vr ( V resultant = Vr)

    θ = cos ⁻1 (3.6/8.4) = 64.62

    Vy = Vr sin θ = 7.58 m/s
